Less than 2 hours to submit! READ THIS!

You have 90 minutes to submit your final project for the iOS App Challenge at CMU!  If you haven't already, I highly suggest you have someone on your team at least start the ChallengePost submission.  The form is quite detailed and it takes a few minutes to go through everything.  A few really important notes:

Include a detailed description and screenshots

This page is what you will include on your resume after the challenge is over so take some time to include a few screenshots of your app and a good description that explains what it does.

List all of your team members

Make sure to list the e-mail address of ALL of your team members or else they will not be eligible for the prize if you win.  Make sure everyone has a complete profile including their full name and not just a username.  If you aren't sure, have them login and then go to the Settings option in the top right corner.

Upload EVERYTHING!

Make sure that you upload EVERYTHING you need to build and compile your app.  This should include your .xcodeproj, all of your Swift code, icons, resources, third-party frameworks, etc.  Zip ALLLLLLLL of this up and put it in the "Upload a file" box.  You might want to take that and put it on someone else's computer or a lab computer to make sure that it compiles there.

If ChallengePost won't let you submit because it's too large, post it to DropBox or something and upload a text file with the URL.  Make sure that it's not password protected so we can get to it.

Tell us how to compile your app

There are some language changes between Xcode 6 (for Mavericks) and Xcode 6.1 Beta (if you're on Yosemite).  In the "What's in your stack?" question, list either xcode6 or xcode6.1 depending on which one you used.

Also specify either "ipod-touch" or "ipad" in the "What's in your stack?" question.  If you don't specify, we'll assume you meant iPod touch.  This is what we will be running your app on stage for you.

Tell us how to run your app

If you need a special user/password or anything that's not obvious about your app, please e-mail challenge@apple.com.

Practice Sessions

I'll be sending out the link to sign up for practice sessions later tonight.  Watch for that.

Any questions about submissions or how to use ChallengePost, come see Myke in Rashid Auditorium or e-mail challenge@apple.com.
